6.5 months old

More pics of Zibby!!

He is 6 1/2 months old today. What a cutie!! He is about 2 feet long
(more accurate measurements later). It's seriously hard to believe
he's so big, but as hubby reminds me, "he's still just a baby."

So on we go...

Here he is next to the deck of cards. It's strange, but makes it easy to compare the growth through the months.

He has a love/hate relationship with the tub. I don't quite understand it! He has a "bathtub" (basically a big, glass baking pan) in his aquarium for water. He loves splashing around in it, but acts as though he doesn't like the people bath tub! (And you can tell by the movement in the water that he's swimming his tail off!!) Maybe it's because it's so big. But he can have an attiutude sometimes, so maybe it's just a big act!! ;)

By the way, he's old enough now that we can tell for sure, it's definitely a boy!! We were just going by his personality before. :P

And don't let his appearance fool you! Sometimes he's just a big loverboy!!

I tried as hard as I could to get a couple of good pictures of his distinctive blue tongue. These pics still don't do him justice, but I'll keep trying.

Aww! Sooo cute. :) Yay. Happy 6 1/2 months to Zibby!!!

His tongue does look rather cool. Is it a more intense blue than the pictures convey?

Ps. Blogdrive is having some issues so if you try to comment back to me unsuccessfully, just email. :) <3

Enjoy your vacation. You and hubby get well soon. xoxo.

Wow! And I just went back and looked at the earlier pictures of him. They DO grow fast! Wow, he's gotten so much bigger in such a short amount of time.

That's so cool!

He is cool!

I have 4 (soon enough it will be SEVEN when all the tads finish their morph) Copes Grey Treefrogs in a cool habitat.

I tried feeding them waxworms yesterday but I think the worms are just too big; I'll stick w. fruit flies and crickets, I guess. They also like small moths but those can be hard to catch!

What does Zibby eat?
